I seem to be good at "lalala that never happened." Ignoring my food journal when the list doesn't look good is a BAD habit, and leads to more un-good days.

yogurt 170/27
apple 60/19
cheese 60/0
tuna 135/0
granola bar 180/24
chicken nuggets 220/13
mayo 45/0
sugar-free fruit bar 30/2
hot dogs 300/0
corn 90/17
Oreo cream pie 290/32 (that's the total for the whole piece - I actually left a little bit)
cheese 60/0
popcorn 170/14

total: 1810/148

Update at least daily. We do not expect perfection, but i at least, expect you to be reasonably near the mark, especially on the number after the slash, say not more than +15%. (-n% is always REALLY good, too.)

There are days I'm nowhere near the mark. Those are usually the days I don't post anything, or suddenly stop posting after lunch :/.

I think those days are more important to post. That would give us an opportunity to be more supportive when you need it most.

That's a good point :/

I will take a milder approach. The first thing to do is POST THE LIST! Even if it's the foods without the numbers, it's much better than not posting at all.

And thank you for posting today, and for acknowledging that not posting is part of the problem.

Thank you. I agree, posting is important - it keeps me paying attention instead of letting myself get sucked into "this doesn't matter anyway..."

Better to be "lalala that never happened." than to obsess on it and assume that you have failed because you have slipped on occasion.
You are doing well, hang in there.

When I do the "lalala" trick, I'm more likely to assume I failed and just keep on ignoring things. It's easier to call it a slip and keep trying if I just keep writing things down.

You know the right answer. You are doing great!
