Goal for the day: do something other than self-destruct. Don't know what exactly, and don't know how, but there you have it. I'm going to start by trying to make myself go to the grocery store instead of McDonald's on the way to therapy.

I have no idea what, if anything, I'm going to change about my eating habits. Today I got the idea of low-carb into my head (after breakfast, obviously), but I don't know how hard I'm willing to work at that right now - I'm already thinking about sandwiches for dinner. Whatever. For the moment, this is just a record.

  • 2 packages of chicken for stir-fry (family meal)
  • 1 package of beef for stir-fry (family meal)
  • 8 individual servings of noodleless lasagna
  • pea soup for an army

    That's after feeding everyone today, and putting away leftovers for the next few days. I still have a lump of steak and 3 pounds of ground beef to do something with, but I'm not sure I have the energy. (I suppose I could make the meatballs and freeze them uncooked?)

    Hmm. It's looking like 30-40% of my calories from carbs is a decent number. I have no idea if that's low enough to get good results, but it seems to work out to that when I have a reasonable combination of foods, so I think I'm going to aim for that for awhile and see what happens. Having a few more carbs from good sources also seems to discourage the binging to some degree.

    I'm making these posts public so my weight-loss support group friends can see them. Oooo, scary :). They're definitely kink-tolerant, so I'm not going to worry about side comments that sometimes end up in here, and anyone who finds this accidentally will just have to deal :).

    Woke up with a headache *again*. This is making things difficult, especially since I'm beginning to suspect my pain medication as the cause.
